There were plenty of MBA executives at 1 King West Hotel this past November 10th, 2011 to celebrate LAMBA’s 1st Anniversary.


LAMBA; the Latin American MBA Alumni Network celebrated its first year with a high profile networking soirée Connecting People and Businesses through Technology  with 250 guests, that  included senior executives from various corporations and industries, Latin American diplomats and leading business schools representatives and alumni.

In his opening speech, LAMBA’s President Victor Olvera remarked on the organisation’s achievements in terms of key partnership with top business schools in Canada; such as Rotman, Ivey, Schulich and HEC, as well as with leading corporations including CIBC, ScotiabankTD bank, KPMG.

What started with a small group of 20 or so Latin American MBA graduates from top business schools in Canada, today  has listed over 500 MBA executives from the Americas.  The organisation has launched various initiatives to consolidate itself as a support network for professional development and a valuable source of connections for experienced Latin American business professionals in Canada.

To celebrate its first anniversary, the organisation invited Nicole German, LinkedIn Head of Marketing Canada and Latin America who shared her insights on Connecting People and Businesses through Technology and Duncan Stewart, Director of Research at Deloitte.
