BOLD magazine and VIP guests were invited for The Guerlain Boutique & Institute – 110 Bloor Street West – Private Event to an exclusive fragrance discovery. The event started a 2:pm with high tea, followed by a night cocktail, beauty session, fragrance consultation and luxurious car exhibition.
This collection, whose olfactory theme is a major metropolis, is an integral part of the Collections Exclusives, like the Elixirs Charnels, L’Art et la Matiere, La Petite Robe Noire etc. As well, it captures the soul, atmosphere, and very identity of an inspiring city. As Sandrine Briatte, Guerlain’s Marketing Director – Canada, put it ” this fourth fragrance, truly captures the essence of LONDON … the fruity green floral and a very clever rhubarb accord, grapefruit, and bergamot with a unforgettable mixture of roses and violets all very British, all leaves you with the sensation that you are in London.”
This new fragrance, automatically transport us to the heart of the British Capital, so close and yet so different from Paris. A singularly intimate interpretation of London, a city that is both eccentric and classic, with lively traditions, surprising conventions and mixtures of urbanism dotted with countryside and lush greenness, with its scents of wind and water, flowers, lawn and smoke.
For this launch, the bottle has been formatted to an easy to travel size 100ml allowed in the plane cabin and as with the previous destinations, this fragrance is accompanied by a map designed like a scented treasure hunt. Developed and designed by graphic artist Carla Sonia, this poetic journey combines maps, images and drawing of iconic sites such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Westminster.
